Matter
By Colette Nicole M. Dongon
Everyone has their own unique ways,
Like having their own chosen place.
Everyone has a different fight,
They’re fighting, for what is right.
Different skin color is not a crime,
Discrimination will soon end in time.
People will keep raising signs,
With powerful and meaningful lines.
Each must know their rights,
For they don’t need to hide.
Speak up, don’t succumb to bribe,
Refuse, and you’ll not end up tied.
Change, change for the better,
Be an example, make it bigger.
Show the world, unity is stronger
And you, you always matter.
