Not until they create something horrible, inappropriate, and awful from a stranger, what happens to your famous repeated line?
They’ll always tell you, “Always be righteous” when something’s about to go wrong. But never applied it with themselves when someone becomes blinded of greed. How do you not get deceived by your own partners, families, or friends, but believes in the lies of the men in ties so quickly? Are they just really a good liars or you’re just ignoring the truth behind their undertone words?
You just want to get this thing done, that’s it. That’s the line.
“Always be righteous,” you said.

Imagine expressing your hatred to someone who managed to be promoted after a few months compared to you who have been enduring all the struggles inside your job just to get what you deserve. Imagine getting robbed, gun pointed on your forehead and all the citizens, who are wealthy-- not wanting their hands to get dirty, around the streets that walked passed the thief ignored the incident.
What happens to you?

Imagine if you’re now the one who’s in need of big help to the ones sitting on a lofty seat but because you’re covered in dust, not a single penny was given to you. You believed in such words after being handed.. 500 pesos each? My fellow citizen, That’s not campaign, that’s bribery.

DAPAT TAMA!
Imagine someone, who’s working under the government, witness your murder and they’re literally the only one you can hope for to give justice on your death before going into the light but refused to do so because.. of course, they wouldn’t want to filth their image to the media especially if it involves them. It’s always the image and reputation that everyone else prioritizes.
You have a lot yet to imagine, but I guess it’s still up to you.
You trust random people easily just because they can offer you anything, when in fact, they really can’t offer anything. You’ll only realize that once you stop turning a blind eye to numerous horrendous events, that has happened for the past months they get to that lofty seat, also finding out that the truth is right in front of you.

If you can’t live a life full of guilt, walk the talk. “Always be righteous”. Because as long as you’re hiding an unsolved case with you, weighed down with grief or sadness, carrying a burden attached on your back, the blame will continuously be thrown to you.
You brought disaster to a place that’s supposed to be worth living by allowing yourself be bribed and mocked by those who are disguising as men in ties.

Kinabukasan ng bayan ay na sating mga kamay
Keeping your eyes closed when it’s the only nature’s source of hope will just define you as a piece of trash scattered around the streets. No one else will define you as that but you yourself who choose to live in mockery and turn themselves that way.
You can’t just advice others, “Always be righteous” because what about you?
And if you’re going to ask, “What’s in it for me?”
